Super Lawyers is a nationally recognized publication distributed across all 50 states, featuring award-winning journalism and attorney recognition through a rigorous peer nomination and research process. As a member of the creative team, I played a key role in shaping the visual identity and editorial experience of the publication through art direction, concept development, editorial design, and advertising creative.

Partnering closely with the Editor-in-Chief, I helped develop cover concepts, editorial themes, and feature story treatments that translated complex legal topics into compelling visual narratives. I art directed cover and feature photo shoots, collaborating with freelance photographers, editors, writers, and stakeholders to bring each issue's creative vision to life. From concept development and shot planning to image selection and final layout execution, I helped ensure every visual element supported the editorial story while maintaining the integrity of the Super Lawyers brand.

In addition to editorial leadership, I concepted and designed thousands of custom advertisements for law firms nationwide, creating original layouts and campaign concepts tailored to each client's brand, audience, and marketing objectives. I continuously developed new advertising approaches, design templates, and creative solutions that balanced efficiency with visual innovation in a high-volume production environment.

The resulting work appeared in premier publications including:
The New York Times Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, Mpls St Paul Magazine, Portland Monthly, and Seattle Met. Managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines, my team and I successfully executed more than 1,000 projects annually while maintaining exceptional creative quality, brand consistency, and client satisfaction.

Featured here is a representative selection of the thousands of editorial layouts, cover concepts, photo shoots, and advertising campaigns I art directed, concepted, and designed throughout my tenure with the Super Lawyers brand.
